NHL Gamecenter Live cost me $160. The service is terrible. I have ample bandwidth and a powerful computer, but the playback is bursty, meaning the video (but not the audio) halts and then runs fast to catch up (only after I pause and then restart the video). After a pause of more than a minute, playback will not resume at all.
The NHL.tv official Twitter support account was deluged with complaints – and a cheeky parody account called NHL GameCenter Dead expressed the fans’ outrage. So what happened?
